Hounds rally late to nip Vikings

Dupage County Hounds outlasted the Southland Vikings on Wednesday after four lead changes, squeaking out a 6-5 win at Lemont High School Sport Complex.

Dupage County Hounds pulled out the win thanks to a strong seventh inning. A two-run error scored Zac Taylor and Ryan Fitzgerald and gave Dupage County Hounds the lead for good.

Taylor racked up two RBIs on two hits for Dupage County Hounds . He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Jordan Jackson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Southland Vikings . He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Danny Riley recorded the win for Dupage County Hounds . He allowed three runs over 2 1/3 innings. Riley struck out two, walked one and gave up three hits.

Dan Jankowski couldn't get it done on the mound for the Southland Vikings , taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
