Southland Vikings Defeats DuPage County Hounds, 6-3

Southland Vikings was victorious over DuPage County Hounds, 6-3 Southland Vikings pulled away for good with two runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Joe Curci singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Robert Keating was the winning pitcher for Southland Vikings. He lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out three. Anthony Rogers and Gil Loza entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Loza recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Southland Vikings. Jake Anderson took the loss for DuPage County Hounds.

He surrendered four runs on six hits over five and a third innings, striking out three. Southland Vikings totaled eight hits in the game. Andy Lopez, Victor Perez, Curci, and Logan Anderson all had multiple hits for Southland Vikings. Anderson, Curci, Perez, and Lopez each managed two hits to lead Southland Vikings.

Southland Vikings didn't commit a single error in the field. Perez had the most chances in the field with eight. DuPage County Hounds tallied nine hits on the day. Austin Tittle and Kennedy Phillips all managed multiple hits for DuPage County Hounds. Tittle went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead DuPage County Hounds in hits.
